oin Busyrawk for the unveiling of the Black Tortoise of the North 北方玄武, the newest mural in the Four Guardians of Chinatown Mural Series. Experience the arrival of the celestial guardian through a light show countdown that illuminates the mural and brings the Black Tortoise to life.

This unveiling centers on the Black Tortoise’s themes of grief, remembrance, and healing. Together, we will honour the many lives lost in Edmonton’s Chinatown and reflect on the deeper social and historical conditions that continue to shape the challenges facing Chinatown and communities across Treaty 6 Territory and Turtle Island.
