Chinese New Year Carnival 2018

To welcome the Year of the Dog, the Edmonton Chinese Catholic Parish cordially invites you to bring your family and friends to join us for 2 days of fun at its 19th Chinese New Year Carnival. You’ll enjoy the ever popular high energy lion dance, unique Chinese arts, crafts, novelties, Chinese calligraphy and more. Special non-stop New Year performances include Chinese musical instrument recitals, Tai Chi and martial art demonstrations, traditional and international dance, children’s choir and dance, just to mention a few. Your taste buds will surely be tempted by a wide variety of exotic authentic home-style Chinese foods such as spring rolls, onion cake, curry fish balls, mini egg waffles, soup noodles, congee, sago drinks, traditional Chinese New Year delicacies…..the list just goes on and on. There are also carnival games for the young and young at heart.
