As many of you are aware, the Chinese New Year (also known as Spring Festival) that is coming up is an important annual celebration in the Chinese culture, and as CSC’s annual tradition, we would like to invite you to our upcoming Chinese New Year Banquet!

This year, whether you are a Chinese international student having to celebrate this familiar festival away from your homeland and family, or someone raised in Canada who is interested in knowing more about the Chinese Spring Festival, we are excited to invite you to join us at our Annual Chinese New Year Banquet on January 20th, 2017 at the Emperor’s Palace for an evening of fine dining (9-course meal) and fantastic performances (including Lion Dances and traditional Chinese musical performances)!

We will be tabling daily from 11am to 5pm to sell tickets to this event starting from January 9th, 2017 in HUB mall by Rutherford Lounge. You can also purchase tickets to the event electronically via our Eventbrite page:

Pricing: $35 for members and $40 for non-members.

DEADLINE for Purchasing Tickets: Wednesday, January 18th

NOTE: if you are purchasing tickets through the Eventbrite website, please send an email to csclub@ualberta.ca with the names of everyone that you would like to be seated with at the event. Please ensure that everyone being listed have already purchased tickets either in person or online. Seating requests can also be made in person for people who purchase tickets in person during our tabling hours.
