Community Public Art Picnic

June 8, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Enjoy summer treats, activities, and live entertainment in Boyle Street Plaza! Free event, all are welcome to attend.

Studio F Minus is creating a new artwork for Kinistinâw Park.
Called the Invisible Gate, the artwork is intended to represent
the lions from the dismantled Harbin Gate on 97 Street. It also
represents the layers of civilization found in an archaeological site. Two lions created from layers of clear acrylic will display cast models of objects contributed by community members.

Be part of the art! Bring a small personal object to the picnic and artist Mitchell F. Chan of Studio F Minus, and his team, will make a 3D scan of your object to be part of the new artwork, Invisible Gate, at Kinistinâw Park. Your object will be returned immediately.

Visit invisiblegate.ca and edmontonarts.ca for more information.
