Did you know that Edmonton’s Chinatown is the largest in area of any North American Chinatown? Did you know that Chinatown has a few different hearts? Come along for a walk to learn about Chinatown’s past, present, and future. We’ll touch on the history of Edmonton’s two Chinatowns, current development pressures, and visit a few of the businesses on and off 97th Street.

This free tour runs from 10:30am-12:30pm every second Sunday this summer on June 11, July 9, August 13, and September 10.

Meet at the Edmonton Tourism Welcome Centre at 9990 Jasper Avenue. Look for guides wearing “I ♥ Chinatown” t-shirts.
