·       An open invitation to the public to learn about the meaning of Chinese Ching Ming Festival. Audio-visual presentation will be presented throughout this drop-in event. We also have on permanent display “A Brief Chronology of Chinese Canadian History”, a wall mural size poster covering the period from 1800’s to 2000’s. Another compilation mounted on wall boards titled “From Asia Across the Sea” that was prepared for the Chinese Canadian Pioneer Museum Foundation presents selected highlights of the journey of Chinese immigrants from sailing across the Pacific Ocean to Canada’s West Coast then spread out to northern BC, crossing the Rocky and arriving at the Prairies.
