Tiny pieces of coloured tissue are used to create beautiful works that look like brush and paintwork in this Japanese art form. During the Kurimoto Japanese Garden Spring Festival artist Joan King will be on site with many chigiri-e pieces for show and sale in the classroom, and the Washi Chigiri-e group from the Edmonton Japanese Community Association will also be displaying their works in the Temperate Showhouse.
