Witness astounding feats of hand balancing, plate spinning, artistic cycling, foot juggling, ribbon dancing, yo-yo manipulation and other gravity-defying wonders as Li Liu, an award-winning and internationally renowned circus act, offers a rare glimpse into the traditions of Chinese acrobatics and culture.

Growing up in a circus family in Beijing, Li took up the performance art at age six and has toured around the world with troupes such as Ringling Brothers, and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Now a freelance artist based in the United States with over 40 years of experience, her interactive performance gives kids a shot at trying some of the … ahem … easier skills and teaches them what it might have been like to grow up in a different time and place.
